Lancaster as a Sharing City

MAR
30

Event Date: 30th of March 2015

Location: Friends Meeting House, Meeting House Lane, Lancaster, LA1 1TX

As part of the Liveable Cities project, the Lancaster University team are hosting a workshop on 30th March called, 'Lancaster as a Sharing City'.

This is a part of our large-scale thought experiment where we are investigating the conditions that would need to be in place for UK cities and towns to become 'sharing cities'.

This workshop is an opportunity for members of different Lancaster district-based community groups to come together and discuss how/what/why they share in Lancaster, and how Lancaster can accommodate sharing in the future.

We have received a really interesting mix of registrations so far, representing a range of local community initiatives, charities, groups and local government. We hope this event also provides people with an opportunity to meet up and network with other people who are also interested in sharing.

So, if you're in the Lancaster area on the 30th March 2015, and you are interested in joining the discussion, please join us!
